Sol Associates is a Bucharest-based advisory firm connecting commercial objectives with technical and delivery questions for wind, solar and battery-storage projects in Romania.
Our approach
We work close to the technical and commercial detail of a project – site layout, energy yield, financial models, contracts and construction schedules – rather than at a distance from it. That is also why we built Sol Signals: the same public-data discipline we apply to our own advisory work, published as a weekly product.
We do not name clients, deals or counterparts in any public material. Our advisory work stays confidential by default, and our intelligence products are built from public sources, never from client-confidential information.

Team
Sol Associates is led by Radu Voinescu, Managing Partner. He works with investors and developers on Romanian renewable-energy projects, connecting commercial objectives with technical and delivery considerations. His focus is wind, solar and battery storage.
Engineering, legal and financial work is delivered with specialist engineers, analysts and advisers engaged according to the assignment. The engagement defines who is responsible for each work product.

Principal
Radu Voinescu, Managing Partner, has worked on wind projects from the equipment side to the developer side: turbine sales at Siemens Wind Power and Nordex, then wind-project development at OX2. He now advises investors and developers on Romanian wind, solar and battery-storage decisions through Sol Associates.
