Three wind-specific dependencies are the ones I would add to a PV-style programme.

The route. Blades of 70 metres and more travel from a port or border on special routes with permits, escorts and temporary works. I would want the survey done before the turbine order, not after.

The concrete. Foundations carry the OEM's anchor cage and need strength and curing reached before tower erection. A pour that runs late holds up the whole erection schedule.

The crane. Main-crane standby can create substantial daily cost; quantify it from the hire terms and programme. Standby terms belong in the contract, alongside the weather limits on lifting.

None of this is hard to understand. It is easy to under-price from a solar background, which is one reason electrical balance of plant is a possible first wind package, where skills can carry over.

Generic practice. General information, not investment, legal or regulatory advice; confirm requirements for your own scope. Source: Sol Associates EPC entry playbooks and wind balance-of-plant explorer.
