A register row has three dates and a status, and they deserve very different levels of trust.
The Transelectrica connection register holds 5,119 entries as at 31 December 2025.
The issue-date field places 5,044 entries in 2024 or 2025; this does not independently validate those dates. Expiry is 364 to 366 days after issue in 4,732 of 4,775 usable date pairs, and 278 rows carry what look like placeholders, the date 30 December 1900. The estimated PIF (commissioning) date is the weakest field: 2,334 entries are empty, 1,840 have other values rather than a parsed date from 2020 onward, and 945 have a parsed date.
The status field needs the hardest look. 5,080 entries read valid, yet 204 of them show a parseable expiry date earlier than the snapshot date. The fields conflict; this snapshot alone does not establish why.
Every field needs validation before it feeds a decision, including issue dates and approved MW.
