Count the connection register by voltage and the same file gives two opposite pictures.
The Transelectrica register holds 5,119 entries as at 31 December 2025. 3,002 of them, 59 percent, are at 1 kV or below, and together they add up to 105 MW, 0.2 percent of the approved megawatts. At the other end, 148 entries at 220 and 400 kV are 2.9 percent of the file and 65.5 percent of the approved megawatts.
The issuer changes with the voltage. All 148 entries at 220 and 400 kV name Transelectrica, under two spellings. The 3,002 at 1 kV or below are issued by distribution operators.
One caution. The largest single row in the file is a biogas entry of 2,994 MW at 20 kV, an implausible value that sits in the 1 to 35 kV band. Leave it out and the 220 and 400 kV share rises to 69 percent.
Entries and megawatts answer different questions. Read both, by voltage, before you rank anything in this file.
